    Author Malissa Smith is the founder of Girlboxing, a blog about the wit and wisdom of the boxing ring. She is also an active member of the women’s boxing community, reporting on women’s boxing. As an advocate for the sport, she was recently named to the board of the International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame.

    Smith lives in Brooklyn, New York and boxes regularly at the world famous Gleason’s Gym.

      I bought the book by pre order in Amazon. Congratulations! I am a writer : Ppv pelear para vivir. Your book is wonderful and necessary. I don’t finds the boxers Margaret McGregor, Ana Pascal and Tonya Harding. These women fought against men . Please, talks me about . Sorry by my english.

        Thank you for ordering the book! While I could not write about all female fighters due to space limitations, I did write extensively about Margaret “The Tiger” MacGregor.       I’ve been reading this again today, the fourth or fifth time I’ve read it and it’s a great book which IF you have NOT already read, I’d suggest you do. You will find plenty of “used” and “new” copies on sites like Amazon, Goodreads (in UK/Ireland) & Easons of Dublin. IF they do not have in stock they should be able to order it for you.
